We love wine, we love going to wineries, trying new varietals, pairing food with it, and most of all we love drinking it. Going wine tasting in Sonoma was our first trip together, it really let us know how compatible we were, and started of our lifelong love of experiencing different cultures and places with each other. Both of us have been to Sonoma and Napa multiple times and I'm sure we will return there multiple more. The wine is some of the best in the world, and the sheer amount of wineries in Sonoma is unreal. For us, we far prefer Sonoma to Napa. Napa tends to be much more commercial, with huge multi-million dollar wineries, and is usually always crowded with tourists. Sonoma, on the other hand really gives you the opportunity to visit family run, small, real, wine making operations. Here are some of our favorite wineries (and a couple breweries) in the area. We hope you love them as much as we do!
